Catherine Jones Obituary
Ms. Catherine Pridgen Jones was born May 5, 1952 in Pitt County to the late William “June” Pridgen and late Doris Mae Lang.
Catherine attended Wayne County Public schools, graduating class of 1970 and Wayne Community College where she obtained an Associates Degree in Applied Science-Executive Secretary, graduating in 1980. She was employed for almost 20 years at O’Berry Center.
On January 4, 1971 Catherine married Robert Lee Jones (Previously deceased). Although they divorced in 1983 their union gave birth to two sons, Robert Lamont Jones of Goldsboro, NC and Quintin Maurice Jones of Houston, TX.
Catherine is also preceded in death in death by her younger brother William “Ray” Pridgen.
Catherine leaves behind many more family and friends who love and will miss her dearly. Although she only lived a brief moment on this Earth she will live forever in the hearts and minds of those she touched.
