Deacon Dock H. Bryant, son of the late Henry and Ella Bryant was born on August 11, 1915 in Duplin County, and entered into rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Wayne UNC Healthcare. 

He moved to Wayne County, met and married the late Rosa  Minnie Speight. 

He worked for the City of Goldsboro and retired from Dewey Brothers. After retirement, he worked as a foster grandparent at OBerry Center for sixteen and half years. 

He leaves to cherish his precious memories; four daughters Elder Catherine Johnson, Minister Elaine Dawson, Deborah Howard and Janice (Levon) Gatling; four sons Hugh Bryant, Joseph (Margaret) Bryant, Johnny (Sandra) Bryant and Wilbur Bryant; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
