It has been a privilege to have this man as my uncle for over 67 years. He has always exemplified the best that God has to offer. I am sure times have not been easy for him- raising a family in the early 1930s and 40s in North Carolina, but I don't ever remember visiting Daddy Dock and Aunt Teen and Daddy Dock not having a smile on his face. He always put his faith in the fact that God would take care of him and his family, and He has. For over 102 years on this earth is a true testament that indeed God is taking care of him. Even though his earthly body has been torn down, God is still taking care of him. I was happy to be able to celebrate his 100th birthday with him and and celebrate his 101 and 102,via telephone. In every occasion he could not stop giving praise unto God. To my cousins, remember his legacy of love and devotion to Jesus Christ. Please continue his legacy and I know that God will take care of you as he has done to Daddy Dock. He is resting now-waiting for that great gittin' up yonder. I love you all.

Cousin Mary V. "Ginger" Speight and all your Delaware cousins

Please accept my condolences, I have not met the family personally however I was very sorry to read that Dock Bryant fell asleep in death. When death separates family members, such great loss can result in deep sorrow. Life is so tender, so fragile, so very precious. Dock Bryant has no doubt left behind a thousand moments that will live in your heart forever. Remember that "God is our refuge and strength" (Psalm 46:1). Praying for you and your family during this time Be Strengthened, Blessed & Encouraged

I know it is hard to bear the loss of Uncle Dock. He was kind and religious man. I hope you can find comfort in this poem by Helen Steiner:
And man, like flowers, too, must sleep
Until he is called from the "darkened deep"
To live in that place where angels sing
And where there is eternal spring!
Heaven is real-
It is a "positive place"
Where those who believe
meet God face to face!
Uncle Dock will be in that "positive place"
Love, Glinda Kaye, Carey, and Garrison

To My Family,
Thoughts and prayers are with us as I pray also. My Dearest Uncle Dock will be missed by us all. God Granted Him With Longevity "102" And I Am So Grateful. We know that he will live again, To Be Absent From The Body Is To Be Present With The Lord. I am so GRATEFUL TO THE LORD that I got a chance to CELEBRATE HIS 102nd BIRTHDAY on 8/13/17 at Saint John Holiness Church, Snow Hill, NC. Actual Birthday, 8/11/15. Love and Peace, Brenda F. Sorry for the loss of your loved one. John 5:28, 29 assures Jesus will restore life to those who has died. Revelation 21:3, 4 gives further assurance death will be swallowed up forever. This is a comforting thought knowing your loved one is in God's memory. Hope this brings comfort.

My sincere sympathy to the family. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in God's promise to soon "swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8)
