Everlena Williams Davis, 81, resident of Barbour Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Smithfield, formerly of Dudley, NC, received her wings on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, during a brief stay at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Davis was born in Lenoir County on April 27, 1937 to the late William Hugh Williams and Clora Carraway Williams.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Arlester Davis; son, Arlester Garrett Davis; brothers, Walker Williams, Ray Williams, Marvin Williams, and Harvey Williams; sisters, Janie W. Rush, Annie W. Lofton, Ruth Williams, Bernice W. Danielson and Ina Mae W. LaRue.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Davis English and husband Gerald; three sons, Michael E. Davis, Roderick M. Davis and wife Joddie, and Christopher E. Davis and wife Kim; six grandchildren, Tonya Davis Bynum (Leonard), Demica Davis, Jacquanta D. McLamb (Farron), Gerald S. English, Roderick M. Davis, Jr., and Christopher M. Davis; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, W. Mae W. Gaillard; numerous nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives.
