Christopher Darnell Smith was born April 24, 1950 in Kinston NC to late Jesse D Smith Sr. and Vernell V. Middleton Smith.  The Lord called him home on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at  Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Christopher graduated from Dillard High School class of 1969 in Goldsboro NC. He worked at  Kemp Furniture Co. for many years, later holding jobs at several businesses, even at Britthaven Nursing which is now Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation where he finally passed.

Christopher was preceded in death by one sister Cynthia and one brother Jesse D Smith Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories three brothers Robert Smith (Emma Faye) of Virginia; Kenneth Smith (Victoria) and Timothy Smith both of Maryland; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends that really loved him dearly.
