A loved member has departed from this earth into a land prepared for him. He departed this life on December 8, 2023 in his home.
Cory Jay Moore was born at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu Hawaii on Saturday, January 30th at 7:58 am to David and Linda Moore. He was the Second of three boys.
Cory traveled around the country living the life of a Military dependent. As a military dependent, Cory lived in Hawaii, Indian Town Gap, Pennsylvania, Fort Mead Maryland, Fort Bragg North Carolina, Fort Sam Houston Texas and Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Cory served honorably as a member of the US Air Force from April 24, 2007 thru April 24, 2015. He was stationed at Lackland AFB Texas, F.E. Warren AFB Wyoming and Buckley AFB Colorado. As an adult, Cory lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Aurora Colorado and Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He had a great fondness for muscle cars, weapons collection and playing video games (YoungKnockDown). Cory was a great conservationist and was wise beyond his years. He would always think deeply before giving you an answer. That part of him will be truly missed.
Cory was united in holy matrimony with Kalease Anders on March 18, 2023.
Cory is preceded in death by his brother, David J. Moore (D.J).
He leaves to cherish his fond memories; his wife Kalease Anders of the home; a loving mother and father David and Linda Moore of Goldsboro, North Carolina; one brother Brian Moore of Lagrange, North Carolina; one sister Tekela LaBree Thompson of Goldsboro, North Carolina; aunts Mary Wilson of Gadsden, Alabama, Donna Carter of Cleveland, Ohio, Shirley Carraway (Lee) of Goldsboro, North Carolina; Uncles Luby Rowe of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Andra Rowe (Laura) of Pink Hill, North Carolina and a host of cousins.
