Cynthia Laverne Raynor, daughter of the late Thomas Worrell and Betty R. Wooten was born in Wayne Co. on July 23, 1952 and entered into eternal rest on May 9, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Cynthia attended Wayne Co. Public Schools as a child and worked at the Dept. of Corrections, in addition to barbering at Seymour Johnson AFB.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, two brothers; Dwight and Dallas, two grandsons; Cameron and Jairus.
She leaves to cherish one son Tago Raynor and one daughter Satara Raynor; five sisters Dawn King, Myra Marks (Windell), Pamela Hackney (Ricky), Tracy Worrell Ponder (Parrish), and Stephanie Worrell; two brothers Keith Worrell and Bryan Worrell. She also leaves to cherish five grandchildren Shawntago Coley, Ashley Dyson, Persette Dyson, Larry Saunders Jr. and Terrell Raynor; seven great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
