David Jerome Moore II

The Obituary

A loved member has departed from this earth into a land prepared for him. He
departed this life on January 26, 2023.

David Jerome Moore II, affectionately known as “D. J.”, was born at Ireland
Army Hospital, Fort Knox, Kentucky on Friday July 8, 1983 at 3:51 am to David
and Linda Moore. He was the first of three boys.

D. J. traveled around the country living the life of a Military child. Not only did
D. J. live in Kentucky, he also lived at Fort Sill Oklahoma, Honolulu Hawaii,
Indian Town Gap, Pennsylvania, Fort Mead Maryland, Fort Bragg North
Carolina and LaGrange North Carolina.

He had a great fondness for music and listening to the bible which I believed he
truly loved. D. J. also loved to hear the sound of a female voice which would
always bring a big smile and laughter. He loved riding around in his
wheelchair, having his head rubbed and just being talked to in general. He will
be truly missed.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories; a loving mother and father David and
Linda Moore of Goldsboro, North Carolina; two brothers: Cory Moore of
Colorado Springs, Colorado and Brian Moore of LaGrange, North Carolina;
Aunts Mary Wilson of Gadsden, Alabama; Donna Carter (Gregory) Cleveland,
Ohio; Shirley Carraway (Lee) of Goldsboro, North Carolina; Uncles Luby Rowe
of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Andra Rowe (Laura) of Pink Hill, North Carolina;
and a host of cousins.
