Exeline Garner (Lina) was born in North Carolina (Duplin County) on June 9, 1926 to the union of the late Sallie and Henry Moses. She answered the Lord’s Call and went to her “new home” peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with her daughter Etherea Nobles and her son Nathaniel Nobles.
Ms. Garner was loved amongst her friends, family and people who knew her. She loved to talk and get visits from her friends and family. Ms. Garner also loved the Lord.
She is also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Ms. Garner leaves behind one sister Aline Sellers of LaGrange, NC. She leaves to cherish her daughters Glinda Young (Kevin) of Goldsboro, NC, Patricia Nobles of Albertson, NC; her sons Tommie Lawson and Donald Nobles of MD, Darryl Garner of Greenville, NC, Leonard “Pop” Garner of Kinston, NC and Randy Garner of Seven Springs, NC. She leaves behind twenty-eight grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one Goddaughter Shirley Thompson and a host of relatives and friends.
