Jimmy R. Exum Sr.

Jimmy Ray Exum Sr. was born November 10, 1941 to the late Johnny W. Exum and  Daisy K. Exum. Jimmy received his education in the Wayne Co. Schools and was a 1960 graduate of Dillard High School. Jimmy enlisted in the Army on July 6, 1960; there he served over twenty years. He worked in the Wayne Co. School System for many years. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, and watching westerns. He also loved good conversations.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny W. Exum and Daisy K. Exum and his brothers, McClendon Blue, Johnny Wayne Exum, Delinwood Earl Exum, and Clifton D. Exum; one sister Nettie Jean Borders.

Precious memories are held dear by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary F. Exum, one son Jimmy Ray (Loretta)  Exum, Jr.; two grandsons Tomarcus Deron Exum and     Timothy (Lex) Wilkerson; two granddaughters Lamesha Wilkerson and Britteny Exum; five great grandchildren Jacquelyn Price, Deron L. Exum, Raelynn Williams, Mar’Keinzziey Exum and Liam Trogdon; one brother James Eddie Exum; one sister Evelyn Exum; one brother in law John R. (Debra)  Best  and one sister in law Barbra Exum; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
