Ms. Julia Mae Hines Wooten was born on May 22, 1945 in Wayne County, NC. She attended Wayne County Public Schools and was a member of Bible Way Holiness Church. She was also employed by Wayne Memorial Hospital where she retired after 36 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cornelius Wooten, Sr. and Priscilla Horner Wooten; two sisters Sadie Bell Wooten and Nancy Wooten Ward; one brother Walter Lee Wooten; and granddaughter Nadia Imani Hines.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Rhonda Hines Evans (Jeffrey) of Cornelius, NC; one son Harvey Lee Hines, Jr. of Goldsboro, NC; beloved poodle Benji; one sister Priscilla Wooten Freeman (Ken); two brothers Chester Lee Wooten and Cornelius Wooten, Jr (Betsy); Sister-in-law Delsorie Wooten.
Her legacy will be carried on by her three grandchildren Jasmin Shalett Hines (four great grandchildren); Dionyca De'janae' Hines; Miracle Monique Hines; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
