Kenneth D. Kornegay was born in Goldsboro, NC on July 5, 1953 and sadly passed away on Saturday April 4, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father; Alfred Kornegay and nephews Maurice Kornegay and Jahlil Teachey. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, one daughter Evony Neal; mother Bernice Whitfield of Dudley, NC, one brother Larry (Glenda) Kornegay; three sisters Brenda Hobbs, Patricia Kornegay Brown (Derrick Brown), and Cynthia Kornegay all of Goldsboro NC. He also leaves to cherish his memory; four grandchildren: DeRonne, Diamond, Diallo, and Dashanti Miller and two great grandchildren Camron and Darius Miller and a host of loved ones including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Kenneth (Ken) was a man who loved his family and friends and was always there to lend a helping hand especially to the people he loved. He will be remembered for his jokes and many stories about the days he spent as a truck driver and for his love of coffee and good music.
