Mack K. George

Mr. Mack Kensey George, age 66, of Creech Street, Goldsboro, North Carolina,  known by his family and friends as “Ken” or McKensey passed away in peace on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11:45 p.m. at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Mack was born in Wayne County on April 12, 1955 to the late Mr. Solomon George and Mrs. Beatrice George.

Mack was a faithful and devoted employee of Franklin Bakery since the age of 19. He went on to be employed by Georgia Pacific. Shortly after he retired and went into business for himself.

Mack was a loving but firm father, loving neighbor and multifaceted in talents. He enjoyed helping his neighbors fix things and made sure his lawn was well manicured.

Mack George’s loving memories will be cherished by his children Gregory George, Marcus George and Byron George; two former wives Barbra Ann Henderson and Connie Broadhurst; daughter in law Sylvia George; sisters in law Sylvia George and Gwen King; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
