Marilyn Elaine Carmichael was born on April 11,1953 in Wayne County to the late George Carmichael Sr. and Eva Cox. She attended Dillard High School and was self-employed as a Homemaker.
"Nook", as she was affectionately known, enjoyed spending time with family and close friends. "Nook' was a well known resident in the Lincoln Homes Community. She was preceded in death by her parents George Carmichael Sr. and Eva Cox. She leaves to cherish her memories to One son; Lamont Anthony Carmichael (Tito Wooten), One sister; Margaret Carmichael (Joseph Bryant) of Goldsboro, NC, One brother; George Carmichael Jr. (Laurel Carmichael) of Goldsboro, NC, seven nephews, fives nieces, a host of great nieces and great nephews of the home. In addition to a host of other relatives and friends.
