Martha R. Merriman

Martha Rogers Merriman, 93, was received into the presence of our Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Martha was born in Wilmington, North Carolina and spent most her years raising her family in Duplin County.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Merriman; daughter Carolyn and grandson Dominic.

She lived a full life as a homemaker, mother, aunt, sister, and grandmother. She loved to cook, sew and talk to anyone she met. Most of all she loved her family and friends and instilled good values in her children and grandchildren, which has served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Martha was the beloved mother of James Jr., Donald, Elizabeth, Frederick and Suzanne. She was the loving grandmother to Erica, Bryan, Lucas, Jessica, Zachary, Bernard JR., and Larry. Martha was also blessed to have many great grandchildren.
