Mr. Marvin Lee Jackson, age 68, departed his earthly life on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at his residence in Goldsboro, NC.
Marvin was born in Wayne County on May 14, 1952 to the late Sylvester Jackson Sr. and Lillie Mae Artis Jackson.
Mr. Marvin Jackson was preceded in death by his wife Johnnie Mae Jackson, grandchildren Erica Frey and Dejarious Thompson, sister Mattie Mae Jackson, and brothers Marion Jackson, Jasper James Jackson, and Eugene Jackson.
He received his education in the public school system of Wayne County.
During his years of working, Marvin was employed and retired from Best Distributing Company after serving as a truck driver for over 45 years.
Mr. Jackson leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories, Children of Goldsboro, NC: Bobbie (Jeff) Jean Mills, James (Sandra) Jones, Melanie Davis, Karen Jackson and friend Antonio Nichols; Children of Garner, NC: Sharon Jackson and Marvin (Akua) Jackson, Jr.; Children of Atlanta Georgia: Tyrone (Shara) Jackson, seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; Brothers of Goldsboro, NC: Sylvester (Evangeline) Jackson, Jr.; Carlton (Alean) Jackson, Ronnie (Angeline) Jackson and Elgin Jackson of Wilmington, NC; Sisters: Bertie Lee Jackson Williams of Goldsboro, NC, Josephine Jackson Lawson of Goldsboro, NC, Mary Ann(Randolph) Jackson Lewis of Princeton, NC, Janice Jackson Carroll of Wilson, NC; a special niece Pamela Jackson Salou and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters in law, brother in law, other relatives, and friends.
