Mary Lee (Beve)l Harvey passed away on Monday March 14, 2016 at the age of 72. Mary was born to the late Jesse Bevel Jr. and Etta Mae Mack May 15, 1943 in Hartsville, SC Darlington County. She received her education from the Darlington County, South Carolina public school system. At the early age of 18 after graduating from Butler High School in Hartsville, SC., she embarked on a journey and landed in Spring Valley, NY where she resided from 1961 to 2007. Mary Lee (Bevel) Harvey A.K.A (Feetney) worked for E. J. Korvette, also known as Korvettes in Nanuet, NY before becoming employed with Prentice Hall/Simon & Schuster Publishing Company for more than 20 years. When her department closed at Prentice Hall/Simon & Schuster Publishing Company, she started a new journey working for New York Thruway EZ Pass until her retirement. Mary Lee (Bevel) Harvey was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church in Spring Valley.

Mary Lee (Bevel) Harvey was married to the late Nathaniel Harvey of Goldsboro, NC and the proud mother of two children, Natalie Harvey-Fonvil (Renst) of the home, and Nathaniel Harvey Jr. (Justina)of Spring Valley, NY.

Mrs. Harvey was preceded in death by her father Jesse Bevel Sr., husband Nathaniel Harvey and brother Gary Bevel.

Mrs. Mary Lee is survived by her loving and devoted children, Nathaniel Harvey Jr. (Justina) of Spring Valley, NY and Natalie Harvey-Fonvil (Renst) the home in Carthage, NC; her mother, Etta Mae Mack Bevel of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Brandon Nottingham (Lindsey) of New Bedford, MA, Tariq Harvey of Atlanta, GA, Taylar Harvey-Fonvil of Carthage, NC, Natrel Harvey of Spring Valley, NY, Noah Harvey-Fonvil of Carthage, NC, Junora Harvey of Spring Valley, NY, Khadeja Harvey of Spring Valley, NY and Elliana Rose of Suffern, NY; her brothers, Rev. Dr. Jesse Bevel, Jr. (Susan) of Atlanta, GA, Walter Bevel of Spring Valley, NY, Nathaniel Bevel (Angela) of Jacksonville, FL; her sisters, Rena Mae Bevel of Spring Valley, NY and Sandra B. Daniel (Wayne) of Longmont, CO;  her brothers in Law, Earl Harvey, Billy Harvey (Cora), Noah Harvey, Bobby Harvey (Mary),and Larry Harvey; her sisters in law, Bessie Harvey Artist (Melvin), Mary Ann Chapman (John), Willie Mae Shehee (James), Anne Harvey, and Gloria Harvey-Shelton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mary Lee (Bevel) Harvey leaves numerous other family members, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, special friends Oliver Jackson (OJ),Geraldine Zimmerman, Shirley Wilson, Eunice Bryant and adopted daughters Becky Oxendine and  Lessie Lee.
