Mrs. Peggy Ann Lofton Cobb, 70,  of Boston, MA, formerly of Seven Springs, NC passed away on May 1, 2017 at Beth Israel Medical Center, Boston, MA.

The funeral service will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church, 395 Jerusalem Church Road, Seven Springs, NC  and burial will follow in Jerusalem Church Cemetery.

Mrs.  Cobb was preceded in death by her parents, Preston Bizzell and Bertha Mae Lofton; three brothers, Remmie Lofton, Jr., Nathaniel Lofton and Alonza Lofton; four sisters, Isabella Perkins, Lucille Sutton, Carolyn Mainor and Lola M. Edwards.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Linwood Earl Cobb of the home; one son, Ron Cobb ( Denia S. Cobb) of Boston, MA; four grandchildren, Shynna Jackson, Cora Cobb, Ronnie Cobb and Saria Jackson, all of Boston, MA; two brothers, James A. Lofton of Boston, MA and Milton Lofton  (Betty) of Seven Springs, NC; one sister, Emma B. Sutton of Goldsboro, NC; one brother-in-law, George Mainor of Boston, MA; one nephew, Authur Mainor of Boston, MA; one niece, Lisa Ann Huguley; three great nieces, Deonna Desir, Juleena Huguley and Juleesa Huguley, all of Boston, MA; a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be held on Friday evening, May 12, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home, 1215 Royal Avenue, Goldsboro, NC.  Floral arrangements may be sent to McIntyre Funeral Home or Stevens Funeral Home.
