Ravonda "Pinky" Jacobs

Ravonda "Pinky" Jacobs transitioned to be with her creator and natural Father, Apostle Dennis R. Jacobs on Sunday, January 19, 2020.  

In 2005 she was certified as a licensed cosmetologist.  She opened and operated Pinky's Hair Palace located at 301 A Street, Goldsboro, North Carolina where she transformed your hair and your mind.  Her salon motto was, "If It's About Hair, Pinky's There!"  Her stylist chair was her platform and classroom to help others "Be the change you want to see!"  Pinky had a heart of gold and a true passion for children and the community.  At 38 years young, she filled her time selflessly giving love, knowledge and service to humanity.

Pinky's greatest and proudest accomplishment was motherhood. She loved, educated and poured her complete essence into her amazing daughter Azurah Chilquita Fasion, the light and total joy of her life!

In lieu of flowers, the family requests your support to continue Pinky's visionary work with children and in the community by donating to the "It Takes A Village Scholarship Fund" via the CashApp using tag $ItTakesAVillageSF.  The first scholarship will be awarded Memorial Day Weekend 2020 during the Dillard Alumni Weekend Festivities.

Pinky is deeply loved by her mother, Apostle Ravonda S. Jacobs, her siblings, Contonna (Darius) Peterson, Dennis R. Jacobs,II, Sheena Jacobs and Brittany (Tarnaus) Robinson, her nephews Jerry Barbry,III, Destin Jacobs, Asa Jacobs, Levi Evans, Abram Heath, Ahmon Heath and her nieces Imani Jacobs, Morriah Robinson, Sanai Heath who Pinky lovingly called Cupcake, her grandmother Lila Coley and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
