Celebrating the Life of Sandy Amoros Sutton Born in Goldsboro NC on September 11, 1956 to
the late Robert Sutton and Mother Lessie Mae Sutton. He Graduated from Eastern Wayne High
School, Class of 1976.
Sandy worked for Kemp Furniture Company for many years after HIgh School, when Kemp
closed he went to employ at Best Sand and Gravel. Then onto Carolina Turkeys in Mt.Olive NC,
where he retired.
Sandy loved Racing cars, going to the Kinston Drag Strip, as he had his own fixer upper. He
enjoyed Horseback riding, he had a few horses in the backyard he cared for, Bonanza Shows,
Sam Cooke’s Oldies and Mel Waiters, just to name a few.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sutton, Grandmother and Grandfather Martha
and John Yelverton, Brother in Law James Robinson All of Goldsboro NC. and his nephew
Deshawn Sutton of California.
Sandy is Survived by his son Maurice McGee of Goldsboro NC; Daughter Sandy Anetra Sutton
of Clayton NC; Step-son Donieke Barnes of Pikeville NC and Step daughter Kisjuana Croom of
Virginia Beach VA. HIs Ex- wife of 29 years , Roegean Sutton. HIs mother Lessie Mae Sutton ,
sister Joyce Robinson All of Goldsboro NC; sister Carolyn Sutton of California; Brother Selwyn
Jones (Joie Jones) of South Dakota; Grandchildren Maurice McGee Jr. and Jayden Marquel
Washington And a Special Friend/Cousin Roger Whitfield of Goldsboro NC. His Niece, Tammy
Thompson (Ervine Thompson Jr.), and Nephews Turmell Robinson (Casey Bradshaw), and
Taiwan Robinson.
