At the age of 47 Thelma Tatum Ingram was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 27, 2017 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn, NC. Thelma received her medical care from Lillington, NC Nursing Rehab Center for approximately twenty years.

Thelma was born to Mrs. Elma Tatum on September 7, 1969. She received her education from Lake Wood High School in Roseboro, NC, from which she graduated. Thelma furthered her education at Sampson Community College in Clinton, NC. On the 26th day of August 1988 she received a certificate as a Nursing Assistant.

She was married to Walter Jerome Ingram on June 12, 1989. From this union three children were born; Jeremiah, Jamella, and Jacob Ingram. She later returned back to college at Wayne Community where she attended until her decline in health.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband Walter Jerome Ingram; three sons Jeremiah of Atlanta, GA; Jamelle and Jacob both of the home; her mother Elma Tatum of Roseboro, NC.

Thelma has two brothers in law Winsor (Brenda) Ingram of Indian Springs, NC and Paul Ingram of Dudley, NC; five sisters in law Everlena (Thomas) Barfield of Dudley, NC, Victoria (Paul) Robinson of Mt. Olive, NC, Dorothy Inez (Ronald) Ward of Mt. Olive, NC, Mary Ingram of Dudley, NC and Robin (Frank) Ingram of Dudley, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Again, we must not forget that she loved Jesus foremost, after Christ, the love of life Jerome and her three sons.
