Vernon Rayvon Fennell, Sr. was born August 9, 1995 in Bronx, NY. He was raised in Brooklyn, NY with his mother Leara Faulk, where he attended Francis Scott High School. He moved to Goldsboro, NC to live with his mother Leara Faulk. He later relocated to Raleigh, NC to establish a new life for his son, Vernon Rayvon Fennell, Jr and Tempi Rolle (girlfriend), where he began his new employment with Mr. Exhaust Professional Hood Cleaner Service. He was a very dedicated employee, loved dancing, cooking, music and fast cars. Vernon was a strong family man who was always ambitious and a go getter. His plans were to make a home for his son and his girlfriend Tempi Rolle. He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Wake Med Hospital of Raleigh, NC.
Vernon was preceded in death by his grandmother Lessie McNair; grandfathers Robert Fennell, Henry McNair and James Jamieson (T); siblings Laresa, Ray and Jermaine Faulk.
Vernon leaves to cherish in memory his son Vernon Rayvon Fennell, Jr.; girlfriend Tempi Rolle; his beloved mother Leara Faulk of Goldsboro, NC and mom Renee Fennell of Brooklyn, NY; grandmother Ermma Fennell of Goldsboro, NC; brothers Shaquan Fennell, Tiequinn Fennell, Ledread Gathers and Jerray Pinckney all of Brooklyn, NY and Xavier (Blue) of Cary, NC; Sisters Shelia Lamar of Queens, NY, Lasheika Faulk, Felixicia Faulk, Sokoya Lamar and Zoria Lamar all of Queens, NY; aunts Orabell Mitchell, Flora Mae Fennell and Alice Huggins of Brooklyn, NY, Henrietta Knighten (Joe) of Hercules, CA, Anita King (Dexter), Doris McNair, Mary M. Barnes, Brenda Johnson (Kenneth) all of Goldsboro, NC; uncles David McNair of Charlotte, NC, Donald Fennell (Boot) of Brooklyn, NY, George McNair, Bennie McNair, David Earl Fennell and Curtis McNair all of Goldsboro, NC and Kenneth McNair (Angelique) of Stedman, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
