Vivian Vanessa Atkinson

Vivian “Vanessa” Atkinson departed this life on August 23, 2019. She was the daughter of Vivian “Ernestine” Spruill and the late Allen A. Whitfield. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sisters Jean A. Robinson and Justine Atkinson.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons Joshua Atkinson of the home and Emanuel Pigford IV of Wilmington, NC; two grandkids Amir Emanuel Pigford and Olivia Grandy of Goldsboro, NC; one brother Leonard “Pockets” Daniels of Fayetteville, NC; four aunts Dorothy Langston, Bertha Walls of Goldsboro, NC, Hattie Skinner of New York and Letha McNair of Raleigh, NC; one uncle James McNair of Connecticut; four nieces Sequelia (David, Jr.) Scott, Michelle (Marshall) Scott, Tonya Atkinson and Nicole (Brent) Campbell; a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; a special friend Mr. Vonniell Bryant.
