Quietly on Saturday April 2, 2016 Warren James Ethridge obeyed his heavenly Father’s command to come home.

Warren also affectionately called by his family and friends as Warren G, Gizzle or Foxie was born to Bessie Mae Langston of Goldsboro. NC on September 10, 1957 in Washington, D.C. Warren’s earlier years of education was in the South Bronx, NY public schools (P.S. 48).

Warren had an interest in working on cars as a mechanic. He also made a career out of working on and fixing cars and appliances. He will have fond memories of him spending many hours of his time fixing and building on cars to be able to sit back and admire how they ran.

He was preceded in death by Mr. James Webb Ethridge of Goldsboro, NC.

He leaves to cherish his memories five children; three residing in New Jersey; one residing in New York; one deceased; his mother Bessie Mae Ethridge of Goldsboro, NC; one sister Brenda Ethridge of New York City; two nephews Sakima Ethridge of New York City and Robert Coates of Arlington, VA; two nieces Alena S. Coley and Tynerah Coates both of Goldsboro. NC.; a host of family, relatives, and friends.
