William M. Spencer

William McCoy Spencer was born October 2, 1957 in Hyde County, NC. to the late Nathaniel and Carrie Spencer. He departed this life on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Wayne UNC Healthcare in Goldsboro, NC.

William was a graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School in Pikeville, NC. He was employed for several years at Wrangled Corporations in Wilson, NC. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing. William was a loving person who enjoyed spending time with his family and was a devoted father to his children.

William leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Deborah Spencer of Goldsboro, NC; daughter, Deaudra Spencer of Pikeville, NC; son, Jomaine Artis of Wilson, NC; three sisters, Blanche Spencer of Fremont, NC, Josephine Callahan of Pikeville, NC, and Rosemary Spencer Horne (Doug) of Kenly, NC; four brothers, George Spencer of Deerfield, NJ, Melvin Spencer (Shawn) of Snow Hill, NC, Marvin Spencer (Anita) of Snow Hill, NC, and Jerry Spencer of Atlanta, GA; a close friend, Lashonda Rouse of the home and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
